Led by Stephen Appleby, the Port Royal Disaster defeated the Hialeah Dodos, 5-3. Appleby went 3-5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 for the Disaster. The last-place Disaster go to 29-41.

Port Royal took a 5-3 lead on Bret Latham's 7th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Latham hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Hialeah pitcher Mario González visibly frustrated.

"Anytime you're seeing it well, it's a good feeling," Appleby told the Port Royal Bulletin.
