Cristo González left his imprint on the 8-4 Florida win against the Calgary Lynx. González, who leads the 3AAA with a .387 batting average, was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Nelson Shaffer picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 5-7. Gregory Cameron, the 26th overall pick in the 2056 draft, was tagged with the loss. By defeating Calgary, the 5th-place Men improved to 37-34.
In the bottom of the seventh, the Men grabbed the lead when González hit his 9th home run of the season. The 3-run home run off Richard Albright made it 6-3, Florida.
"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said González.
