José Barrón was a major factor in the 6-4 Norfolk win over Port Huron. The Pajaritos left fielder went 2-5 with a home run. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. Picking up the save was 23-year old right-handed pitcher Toby Cates. Norfolk is sitting pretty at 51-20.

Barrón had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 1-1 cutter from Corey Robinson, he banged a grand slam home run to right, giving the Pajaritos a 6-3 lead. It was the 8th home run of the year for Barrón.

"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Barrón told the Norfolk Chronicle.
