Marlins Lose Versus Vermont, 10-4
Vermont left fielder Bartolo Bode helped his team beat the Ft. Myers Marlins, 10-4. Bode, who is tied for 9th in the 3AAA in extra base hits with 27, went 3 for 5 for the Lake Monsters. Vermont reliever Howard Moore picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Juan González absorbed the loss. Vermont is now 34-38, Ft. Myers 33-39.

Vermont took the lead, 6-4, on Nikolaj Molnar's 6th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Ft. Myers pitcher Juan González in the bottom of the eighth.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Vermont skipper Alfonso Núñez.
