The Hialeah Dodos topped the Plymouth Rocks, 4-3, in M3L Triple A action at Dodos Ballpark. The standout performance belonged to Hialeah pitcher and Barcelona, Spain, native Bernardo Rivera. The Dodos saw their record improve to 31-41.
The game reached a climactic end in the bottom of the ninth. With Hialeah trailing 3-2, John Robinson delivered the decisive blow, stroking a fastball from Marvin Justice for a 2-run home run. Ballgame.
"Bernardo is a tough competitor," said Hialeah manager Albert Pérez.
