The Norfolk Pajaritos got a stellar performance from pitcher Tom Ferguson, who handcuffed the Port Huron offense en route to a win, 4-2, at Norfolk Field. Ferguson picked up the win for Norfolk, going 8 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 7-4. Toby Cates wrapped it up, recording his 9th save.

Tied up with the Blitzkrieg in the bottom of the fourth inning, the Pajaritos got a boost from first baseman Juan Flores. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, Flores saw a 1-0 changeup from Al Casey and hit a 2-run single to break the stalemate and put Norfolk on top, 4-2.

"Good pitching, clutch hitting," said Norfolk skipper Vincent Cruz. "I can't complain."

At 52-20, the Pajaritos are currently first in the Menard's AAA.
