The Salt Lake City Buzz powered past the Florida Men, 8-6, at Psychos Ballpark. Ken Woods provided some of the pop. He went 4 for 4 with a double and 3 singles. Salt Lake City raised its record to 37-36 with the win.

Warren Sharp drove in 2 runs for Salt Lake City. The 23-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the eighth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 6-6 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off John Bell. It was his 19th RBI of the season.
