6-4 Triumph Takes Milton to 53-24
|
The Milton Dogfish Head defeated the Hudson Bay Redwoods, 6-4, in M3L Triple A action at Redwood Field. Milton pitcher Ray Campbell had a standout performance. Juan Ramírez picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-0. Randall Dean, who is tied for 7th in the 3AAA in wins with 7, was tagged with the loss. Milton has an impressive 53-24 record.
Milton took advantage of an error in the top of the ninth inning. The game was tied, 4-4, when Davey Hester hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put the Dogfish Head in front, 6-4.
"Ray gave us a heck of an effort," said Milton manager Brian Burt.
