The home crowd had a good time watching the Plymouth Rocks and Sunset District Fog get after it.
The Sunset District Fog topped the Plymouth Rocks, 7-4, with youngster Rick O'Shea playing a key role. O'Shea was 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Fog in the win. Andrew Martin collected his 6th save.
With Sunset District leading 1-0 in the bottom of the second, O'Shea hit a run-scoring single off Plymouth hurler David Meyer. It was the 4th hit of the season for O'Shea and put his team ahead, 2-0.
"We were able to get some things going offensively," said O'Shea.
Sunset District now has a record of 42-35 with the win.
