Fighting Dachshunds Win with Late Heroics
Ellenburg turned a good performance from starting pitcher Tazz Jones into a 2-1 triumph over the Sacramento Redlegs in 10 innings at Dog Park in Ellenburg. Ellenburg reliever Darryl Brady picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Jeff Rodríguez was saddled with the loss. With the victory, the Fighting Dachshunds record stands at 15-8.

Ellenburg got a game-changing hit from Clancy Hendricks. The first baseman blasted a 2-run home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a winner.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Hendricks. "And not try to do too much."
