Billy Goats Sunk by Rocketeers
|
The Seattle Rocketeers picked up a win at Boeing Dome, taking down the Colorado Billy Goats, 10-3. Starting pitcher Anthony Samuels was a big reason why. With the win, the Rocketeers have a record of 21-17.
Dave Powell had a big 2-run double for the Rocketeers in the bottom of the third inning. With Seattle leading 4-1 and the bases loaded, he got a circle change from former first round draft pick Juan Cruz and swatted a double to center. It was his 3rd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Rocketeers ahead, 6-1.
"I still think this team has room for improvement," Samuels told the Seattle Observer.
