The Hartford Pride topped the Port Royal Disaster, 7-3, in M3L Triple A action at Pride Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Hartford pitcher Arch Stanton. The 5th-place Pride lifted their record to 43-37.

Had Ted Garrett not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Garrett hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Pride.

"Nice win for us," said Stanton. "Now we'll go after the next one."
