3-0 Loss Extends Buffalo Losing Streak

The Seattle Rocketeers used a great performance from Manuel Bernal, who finished 4th in the PL in ERA with 2.75 in 2060, to beat the Buffalo White Walkers, 3-0, at Boeing Dome. Bernal got the win, improving to 1-0. He gave up 2 hits and walked 2 over 5.1 innings. He allowed no runs. The Rocketeers, at 17-22, have now won 5 straight.
Luigi Mangione, who led the PL in hits with 133 in 2060, came through for Seattle with a solo home run in the bottom of the fourth. The first baseman was a perfect 3 for 3 in the game, including 1 home run and 2 singles. He scored 1 run and collected 1 RBI.
"It wasn't a very good day at the ballpark," said Buffalo manager Chris Lau.
