The Zoo in Syracuse was the site for USPL Triple A action featuring the Sacramento Redlegs and Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys.

The Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys cut down the Sacramento Redlegs by the score of 10-5, with the largest share of the credit going to shortstop Wyatt Hathaway. Hathaway hit 2 home runs for the Squirrel Monkeys. Ben Lane got the win, improving to 4-0. He pitched 6.2 innings, giving up 7 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 3 and walking 2. Volmer Aalbers earned the save for Syracuse, his 3rd.

Diego Guzmán, who is tied for 5th in the PAAA in RBI with 19, chipped in a 3-run home run for Syracuse in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the center fielder had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 3 runs batted in.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Hathaway.
