Luis Luttazi left his imprint on the 3-0 Florida win against the Ft. Myers Marlins. Luttazi, who is tied for 10th in the 3AAA in home runs with 14, went 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Mike Allen earned the save for Florida, his 20th. Florida currently is in 8th place in the Menard's AAA at 42-44.
With scoring opportunities rare, the Men had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the fifth, when third baseman Larry Parker hit a run-scoring single. The single came off Chris Lee and made the score 2-0, Men. Parker was 2 for 4 with 2 singles.
"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Luttazi told the Florida Daily.
