The Sunset District Fog defeated the Port Royal Disaster, 4-3, at Fog Park. Sunset District was led by 27-year old center fielder Pat Simpson, who went 4 for 5 with a triple, a double, and 2 singles. The 8th-place Fog improved to 43-43.

The game was decided with no one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Sunset District trailing 3-2, Diego Guerra hit a changeup from Pepe Aguilar to left for a 2-run single. Just like that, the Fog had a walk-off win.

"The crowd was juiced," said Simpson.
