The Tortolita Drummers beat the Syracuse Starks, 5-4. Tortolita pitcher and Santiago de Cuba, Cuba, native José Hernández led the way. Hernández got the win, improving to 1-0. He gave up 6 hits and walked 3 over 8 innings. He allowed 2 runs. The win puts Tortolita at 16-14 this season.
