|
The home crowd was treated to a thrilling, walk-off win.
No one was more impactful than Gus Miller in an extra-inning, 6-4 Plymouth win over Vermont. Miller, who is tied for 6th in the 3AAA in bases on balls with 48, was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The Menard's AAA-leading Rocks are 58-29.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With two out, Miller hit a slider from Chris MacIntyre for a 2-run home run. The Rocks, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"This wasn't a good win," said Miller. "It was a great win."
