The Zoo in Syracuse was the site of a true pitchers' duel.

The Kansas Rainbeaus beat the Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys, 2-1, at The Zoo in Syracuse. Starting pitcher Jang-jin Na was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. The second-place Rainbeaus bumped their record to 19-13.

The Rainbeaus got a big hit from second baseman Chris Gutiérrez. Facing Syracuse pitcher Zico Point du Jour, Jr. in the top of the sixth, Gutiérrez pounded a solo home run to center. His 2nd home run of the season put the Rainbeaus ahead, 2-0.

"I pretty much put my pitches where I wanted to," said Na.
