Losing Streak Continues for Monsters with 10-3 Loss to Redlegs
The Sacramento Redlegs coasted to a win over the Monongahela Monsters, 10-3. José Vera had a good day at the plate for Sacramento. He was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. The losses continue to add up for Monongahela, having now dropped 12 straight.

Vera had a key at-bat for Sacramento in the bottom of the first. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and gave Sacramento an early 2-0 lead.

"I warned the team before the game," losing manager Andrés Pérez told reporters, "that I'm wearing the same pair of undies until we win."
