It wasn't easy but the Salt Lake City Buzz made it look that way.

Starter Tony Powell shut out the Port Royal Disaster despite having what he later called "sub-par" stuff, and the Salt Lake City Buzz cruised to victory, 8-0. Powell allowed only 2 hits and rang up 5 strikeouts but insisted later that he did not deserve primary credit for the win.

"It didn't feel quite right today, but I got a lot of help to get through," he said. "I trusted my catcher and the guys behind me bailed me out more than once when I screwed up."

In 19 starts this season, Powell has rung up a 5-7 record and a 3.79 ERA.
