The Plymouth Rocks got a stellar effort from pitcher Augusto Jaimes, helping Plymouth score a win over the visiting Pawnee ParksNRec, 3-2, in 10 innings. The Rocks sit in 7th place in the Menard's AAA with a record of 45-44.
A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 3rd and two out in the bottom of the seventh inning. That's when first baseman Cecil Burke hit a run-scoring single. The Rocks went on to win.
"When Augusto is on, he can really move the ball around," said Plymouth manager Gerald Clark.
