At Plymouth Quarry, the Plymouth Rocks and Port Royal Disaster were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Right-hander Alvin Buchanan mesmerized the Plymouth Rocks while leading the Port Royal Disaster to a 3-0 victory. The save went to Pepe Aguilar, number 19 for him.

In the top of the fifth, José Torres delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and a runner on 1st, the Port Royal designated hitter hit a 2-run home run, putting the Disaster in front, 3-0.

"Alvin did a good job of managing their lineup," said Port Royal manager .

By defeating Plymouth, the 10th-place Disaster improved to 39-50.
