Tight Tilt Goes to Dodos, 4-3

Hialeah pitcher Bernardo Rivera did his part in helping his team beat the Sunset District Fog, 4-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Hialeah reliever Bernardo Rivera got the win, raising his record to 6-4. Larry Moore was tagged with the loss. Ric Nelson was called on to finish, recording his 6th save.
In the bottom of the sixth, Hialeah pinch hitter Esteban Reyes gave his team the lead. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Daddy O hit his 6th home run of the year. Sunset District pitcher Larry Moore surrendered it. With that, the Dodos jumped in front, 4-3.
In comments to the Hialeah Daily, Reyes insisted that he's not as disinterested as it often appears. "Haters will hate," he added.
The defeat makes Sunset District 45-46.
