The Sunset District Fog overcame a good performance by Austin first baseman Jim Chuma to knock off Austin, 5-4, at Fog Park. Chuma was 4-5 with a double and 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI. Bill MacNeill, the winning pitcher, improved to 4-3. He pitched 5 innings, giving up 8 hits and 1 run, while striking out 5 and walking 2. Their 39-55 record puts the Fog 10th in the Menard's AAA.
The Fog got a gift in the bottom of the sixth inning, when they were leading 4-1. With one out and the bases loaded, Carlos García reached on an error by the SS, driving in 1 run. It made the score 5-1, Sunset District.
"We were the better team," crowed García.
