Thunderbirds Come Up Short at Port Royal, 3-2

Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Port Royal Disaster and Hamilton Thunderbirds.
Port Royal Disaster starter Alvin Buchanan turned in an exceptional performance against the Hamilton Thunderbirds at Ballpark of Port Royal, resulting in a Port Royal win, 3-2. Pepe Aguilar closed out the game, earning his 21st save.
Had Greg Hilton not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Hilton hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Disaster.
"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Port Royal manager .
The Thunderbirds, at 34-60, have lost 7 in a row.
