Conner Leads Sunset District to 3-0 Win
|
Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the Sunset District Fog and Ft. Myers Marlins.
Jarred Conner, who is rated as the 64th best prospect by BNN, never let the Marlins get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his fastball, to pitch the Fog to a win, 3-0. Jack Parker recorded his 4th save for Sunset District.
Conner's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 8 strikeouts in 7.1 innings while allowing 3 hits. Conner, who is rated as the 64th best prospect by BNN, goes to 4-0 on the year with 29 strikeouts.
"I just trusted my stuff," said Conner.
Sunset District bumps their record to 48-47 with the win.
