The Florida Men downed the Port Royal Disaster, 1-0, at Psychos Ballpark. Stellar pitching by William Maxwell had a lot to do with it. The right-hander handcuffed his opponent all game. Don Walker recorded the save, his 2nd. Florida, at 41-54, occupies 10th place in the Menard's AAA.
Maxwell was in the zone, shutting down Port Royal hitters over 8 innings. Maxwell, who threw 89 pitches, allowed no runs on 4 hits. He also tallied 4 punchouts.
