Led by Emory Mills, the Austin Black Mambas downed the Hamilton Thunderbirds, 5-4. Mills was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 doubles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Black Mambas. Austin reliever Carlos Cintrón picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Matt Maldonado took the loss. With the win, Austin raised its record to 51-46.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With two out, Mills hit a fastball from Matt Maldonado for a run-scoring double. The Black Mambas, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"Nice to tuck this win away," said Mills.
