Redwoods Take Nail-Biter Over Rocks
The Hudson Bay Redwoods dealt the Plymouth Rocks a 6-5 loss in 10 innings at Redwood Field. James Carroll was the star on offense. He was 3 for 3 with 3 singles and 2 walks. Hudson Bay reliever Nicholas Reyes picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Patrick Wilder absorbed the loss. With the win, the Redwoods sit at 61-39.

The Redwoods got a clutch hit from second baseman Blair MacRuer. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Redwoods.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Carroll.
