6-5 Flyers Win over Rainbeaus Evens Season Record
The Pennsauken Flyers besoiled an otherwise fine performance by Kansas right fielder Larry Rothrock by beating the Rainbeaus, 6-5, at Pennsauken Park. Rothrock was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times. Adrián Correa snagged the win in relief. He goes to 2-0 on the season. George Mosley suffered the loss. Lawrence Hayden earned the save for Pennsauken, his 4th.

Harun Abdul-Hamid, the Pennsauken catcher, contributed a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fourth inning to make the score 3-2, Flyers. For the game, Abdul-Hamid was 1-4.

"It wasn't our best performance," said Abdul-Hamid, "but a win in this league is nothing to sniff at."

Pennsauken is now 28-28. Kansas is 35-21.
