The Hartford Pride topped the Port Huron Blitzkrieg, 6-4, in USPL Triple A action at Port Huron Park. The standout performance belonged to Hartford pitcher and El Pueblito, Mexico, native Nelson Carrasco. Anastasio Ayala recorded the save, his 1st. The win has Hartford at 21-37.

Scott Hines had a big 3-run home run for the Pride in the top of the seventh inning. With Hartford leading 3-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he sized up a curveball from Kensaku Sanu, who is tied for 4th in the PAAA with a 8.9 K/9 rate, and punished it. The result was his 7th home run of the season, which put the Pride on top, 6-0.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Hines.
