Pajaritos Deal Hot Chickens 7-1 Loss
|
The Nashville Hot Chickens went down to defeat to Tom Ferguson and his Norfolk teammates. The final score was 7-1, in favor of the Pajaritos. Norfolk now sports a record of 43-46.
Norfolk used the timely hitting of Ofa Paulo to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Pajaritos on top, 3-1. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"Baseball is such a beautiful game," said Paulo. "Anything can happen on any night, and that's why you don't dwell on what happened yesterday. Just look forward and trust you're going to have positive results."
