Pennsauken catcher Harun Abdul-Hamid was a significant contributor in his team's 8-2 triumph over the Ellenburg Fighting Dachshunds. He went 2-3 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Flyers. At 53-43, the Flyers claim second place in the Premier AAA.
With Pennsauken leading 3-2 in the bottom of the sixth, Abdul-Hamid hit a 2-run single off Ellenburg hurler Tim Strong. It was the 16th hit of the season for Abdul-Hamid and put his team ahead, 5-2.
"We didn't pitch good, and when you don't pitch good, you lose," said Ellenburg manager Pedro Rodríguez.
