Starting pitcher Brian McDaniel took care of business, helping the Sacramento Redlegs stifle the Norfolk Pajaritos, 1-0. The defeat makes Norfolk 47-52.
McDaniel, a native of Phoenix, Arizona, was dealing all game. He kept Norfolk hitters off-balance, while giving the Redlegs 8 quality innings. McDaniel threw 109 pitches, allowing 6 hits and striking out 7.
