Plymouth Rocks starter Jason García found his groove in his team's 3-2 win over the Milton Dogfish Head. Marvin Justice earned the save for Plymouth. The win has Plymouth at 2-0.

Plymouth used the timely hitting of John Gotaas to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Rocks on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

After the game, Plymouth manager Tommy Dreamer applauded the team's effort. "They busted their humps out there," he said.
