Black Mambas Flame Out Against Orr, Rainbeaus
Wednesday, May 9th , 2063
Bubba Orr was throwing strikes early and getting ahead in the count, his manager said after the Kansas Rainbeaus hurler tossed a 4-hit, complete game shutout against the Austin Black Mambas.
"I went right after each hitter, trying to get ahead in the count," said Orr. "I wanted them to swing the bats and keep my pitch count down. It worked. I felt strong the whole game, even in the last two innings."
Orr walked 1 and struck out 7 in the 8-0 victory.

Rainbeaus Show No Mercy in 10-0 Thrashing of Black Mambas
Tuesday, May 8th , 2063
In an outstanding mound performance, Kansas Rainbeaus starter Bob Bradley fired a complete-game shutout against the Austin Black Mambas at Wichita Field.
Bradley was the key to the 10-0 Kansas win. The 21-year-old right-hander was in high spirits for much of the game, his mood largely unfazed by the 4 hits and 2 walks he allowed.
"4 hits?" he said with a laugh following the game. "Listen, I'd be happy with a 30-hitter, as long as it was a shutout."
