Pat Butler propelled his team to victory over the Tortolita Drummers. The final score was 5-3, Calgary. Ryan McDaniel nailed down his 2nd save. The win lifts Calgary to a record of 3-0.

The game was at a stalemate until third baseman Seung-mo Yong came to bat in the top of the eighth. Facing Tortolita pitcher Arturo Martínez, he hit a 2-2 slider for a 2-run single. It was a game-changer, putting Calgary on top, 5-3.

"Pat pitched his heart out," said Calgary manager Steve Duncan.
