Sioux Falls Dealt 6-2 Defeat
|
The Austin Black Mambas knocked off the Sioux Falls Red Pandas, 6-2, in USSL Triple A action at Mamba Park. Austin pitcher and Terre Haute, Indiana, native Dan Gibbs had an outstanding performance. Austin sits at 3-0 in the early going.
Caden White was vital to the Austin win. He was 3-5 with 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first with no one out, White hit a 2-run single. It made the score 2-0, in favor of the Black Mambas.
"It wasn't a very good day at the ballpark," said Sioux Falls manager José González.
