Sioux Falls designated hitter Clint Ellison had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 7-6, to Port Huron at Port Huron Park. Ellison hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Luis Montáñez snagged the win in relief. He goes to 1-0 on the season. Rock DeVote suffered the loss. The win gives Port Huron a record of 2-2.

The Blitzkrieg got a clutch hit from catcher Yic Hsi. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Blitzkrieg.

"This joint was rocking," said Hsi.
