The Sacramento Redlegs picked up a win at Fog Park, knocking off the Sunset District Fog, 17-8. Starting pitcher Rich Banks was a big reason why. Tetsuyuki Ando, now 1-0, picked up the win in relief. He allowed 3 runs on 7 hits in 4 innings. The loss drops the Fog to 0-5.

This game was not decided until late. With one out in the top of the 12th, Theo Belcher drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Redlegs took the lead, 9-8.

"I'm trying to keep it simple," said Belcher. "Just do my job."
