Black Mambas Sneak Past Lynx, 2-1
|
The Austin Black Mambas walked off with a big win.
The Austin Black Mambas relied on a great performance from 25-year old left-handed pitcher Bill Grant to beat the Calgary Lynx, 2-1, in 10 innings at Mamba Park. Austin has a record of 3-3.
The Black Mambas relied on left fielder Caden White for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the tenth, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.
"That was your kind of game, if you like high drama," said Black Mambas manager Luis Vicenteno.
