Monongahela picked up a win at Timber Hawks Ballpark, bumping off the Austin Black Mambas, 4-3. Pitcher Fernando Feliciano was a major reason the Monsters emerged victorious. Monongahela, with the win, is 5-2.
Monongahela took the lead, 4-3, on Grant Cobb's 3rd home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Austin pitcher Steve Green in the bottom of the eighth.
"Nice to tuck this win away," said Cobb.
