Díaz Goes Deep Twice in 8-4 Flamingos Win
The Florence Flamingos beat the Austin Black Mambas, 8-4, at Florence Field. Florence left fielder Juan Díaz had the hot bat. He went 4-5 with 2 home runs and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. The Black Mambas drop to 3-7 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2062 season.

Artie White went 2-3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs for Florence. The 27-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the bottom of the third. With two out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring single off Hunter Stinson. It was his 10th hit of the season.

"We didn't pitch good, and when you don't pitch good, you lose," said Austin manager Luis Vicenteno.
