Tortolita pitcher Norman Ayres had a large part in his team subduing the Port Huron Blitzkrieg, 4-2. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the right-hander. Ayres got the win, improving to 2-1. He gave up 4 hits and walked 4 over 7 innings. He allowed 2 runs. With their winning streak at 4, the Drummers have raced to a strong start this season.
