The Pawnee ParksNRec eked out a 3-2 win versus the Athletic Club KC Reserves at KC Reserve Stadium. Nobody did more than pitcher John Willis. He was terrific. The loss drops the Reserves to 6-6.

Mike McDowell dealt the Reserves a blow in the top of the fifth. Batting with a runner on 3rd and Pawnee leading 2-0, McDowell hit a 0-1 changeup for a run-scoring single.

"We had a good game plan," Willis said, "and we were able to execute it."
