Benefiting from Bobby Harris's productive game, the Florence Flamingos downed the Austin Black Mambas, 6-1. Harris went 3-4 with 2 home runs and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Flamingos. Gustavo Martínez was the winner. He's now 2-0. The loser was 35-year old right-handed pitcher Carlos Sandoval. Roosevelt Maynard wrapped it up, recording his 2nd save.

Harris made an early impact for Florence when he stroked his 3rd home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which came in the bottom of the first, put the Flamingos on top, 3-0.

"I like our mindset right now," said Florence manager Nick Hoskins.

Now 9-3, the 2063 Flamingos have been phenomenal so far.
