Takakazu Ishihara pitched a gem to lead Nashville to victory over the Hartford Pride, 7-0. Now 2-10, the 2062 Pride have been dreadful.

Nashville second baseman Jack Wood landed a blow when he belted a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth. It was his 4th home run of the season. With it, the Hot Chickens took a 7-0 lead.

"Everyone's kind of edgy right now," said losing manager Tim Fowler, "but nothing a couple of wins wouldn't cure."
