Led by Ken Byrd, the Norfolk Pajaritos downed the Calgary Lynx, 8-5. Byrd was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Pajaritos. Earning his 4th save of the year was David Adelabu. With their winning streak at 4, the Pajaritos have raced to a strong start this season.

Byrd contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Norfolk in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 2-1, Byrd took a cutter from Pat Butler and stroked the home run to left. His 2nd home run of the season allowed the Pajaritos to leap in front, 3-2.
