Rocks Fall Short, 2-1, at Pawnee
The Pawnee ParksNRec eked out a 2-1 win versus the Plymouth Rocks at Whips Ballpark. Nobody did more than pitcher John Parker. He was terrific. The win puts Pawnee at 6-7.

Claudio Sánchez had a big solo home run for the ParksNRec in the bottom of the third inning. With Pawnee leading 1-0 and the bases empty, he sized up a fastball from 29-year old right-handed pitcher B.J. McLean and punished it. The result was his 1st home run of the season, which put the ParksNRec on top, 2-0.

"We did a lot of really good things and it was a good win," said ParksNRec manager Hikaru Nakayama.
